Through engagement with local communities, we build and maintain long-standing relationships with stakeholders, making sure the work we do leaves a positive impact. Dealing openly and being transparent with our stakeholders is essential if we are to keep our social licence and continue bringing natural stone to the world.
To deliver long-term value for local communities, our work needs to contribute to initiatives beyond our direct economic impacts. We support programmes that improve the lives and livelihoods of people by developing local enterprises and improving essential services like schools, healthcare, water supplies and roads.
We always comply with the UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, UN Global Compact, International Labour Organization Core Conventions and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights.
